I am the mother of two autistic sons. While my 15-year-old may be able to live independently without significant support, my 11-year-old is severely autistic, nonverbal, and will require 24/7 care for the rest of his life. My family depends on Kentucky Medicaid and the essential services it provides.

Hello, my name is Amanda Duley. I have two children who are autistic. One is 15 and the other 11 both of my sons deserve access to any kind of services that they need. My 15 year-old is verbal. He does have ADHD. He is able to take care of himself and may be just fine without any support or service services. However, my 11-year-old child is severe nonverbal autistic and will need to be cared for 24/7 for the rest of his life we depend on Kentucky Medicaid and the services which Medicaid provides. Our children, our families, they deserve to be cared for, loved her and treated equally and fairly.
